Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Week Contract | 3475597

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a hospital-based GI/Endoscopy Lab. This role is ideal for nurses with procedural and sedation experience who are comfortable assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Assist physicians with procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, and other GI interventions
• Prepare procedure rooms with required equipment and sterile supplies
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation and assess patient response
• Monitor vital signs and patient status during procedures and recovery
• Maintain infection prevention and safety standards
• Document procedures, medications, and patient care accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia providers, and endoscopy team members

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state or compact as applicable)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Endoscopy or GI Lab nursing experience required
• Experience with procedural sedation and recovery care required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to function effectively in fast-paced procedural settings

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA required)
• ACLS required
• PALS required only if facility mandates pediatric cases

Contract Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4×10-hour day shifts (40 hours per week)
• Employment Type: Contract (not permanent)
