Endpoint Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist with expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Antivirus (AV), Proxy solutions, and Email Security. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's cybersecurity posture is robust, proactive, and aligned with industry best practices. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across teams to address security challenges effectively.

Position: Engineer / Application and Endpoint Security

Key Responsibilities:

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR):

• Deploy, configure, and manage EDR solutions to detect, investigate, and respond to endpoint threats. Monitor EDR alerts and conduct in-depth analysis of suspicious activities to identify potential security incidents. Develop and implement endpoint hardening policies to reduce attack surfaces. Perform regular audits and optimization of EDR tools to ensure maximum efficiency and coverage.

Antivirus (AV):

• Manage enterprise-level AV solutions, ensuring timely updates and signature deployment across all systems. Conduct periodic scans and ensure AV tools are functioning effectively to prevent malware infections. Investigate and remediate AV-related incidents, including virus outbreaks and false positives. Provide recommendations for AV solution improvements based on emerging threats.

Proxy Solutions:

• Configure and manage web proxy solutions to ensure secure internet access and block malicious websites. Monitor proxy logs for suspicious activities and enforce web filtering policies. Collaborate with network teams to optimize proxy configurations and performance. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to web access.

Email Security:

• Implement and manage email security solutions, including anti-phishing, anti-spam, and malware protection. Monitor email traffic for suspicious patterns and investigate potential email-based threats. Configure URL rewriting and on-click protection mechanisms to safeguard against phishing attacks. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve email security issues promptly.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in EDR, AV, Proxy, and Email Security solutions. Proven track record of managing enterprise-level security tools and responding to cybersecurity incidents.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in EDR platforms Proficiency in AV solutions Experience with proxy solutions In-depth knowledge of email security tools Familiarity with security frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex security incidents.
