Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote physical and mental development.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Encourage outdoor play and exploration, minimizing screen time.
- Assist with meal preparation and promote healthy eating habits.
- Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and activities.
- Manage daily routines, including nap times and transitions between activities.
- Provide emotional support and guidance, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and children's belongings.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to engage children in creative and active play.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Background check clearance before employment.
- Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to adapt to the family's needs and routines.
