About the role:

As an Engineer 1 - Mechanical you will perform a variety of engineering tasks to support fatigue aging management in nuclear power plants.

You will report to the Manager, Fatigue Aging Management for Reactor Component Engineering and based at the Westinghouse Headquarters in Cranberry, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. You will work a hybrid scenario at the manager's discretion. No relocation assistance will be provided for this position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
  • Develop extensive technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
  • Work in teams to resolve critical issues improving the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
  • Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with Westinghouse customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Required (other engineering disciplines will Not be considered for these positions).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA Required
  • Prior experience with Nuclear Power Plants

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
