Engineer I, Technical Quantities

Provide a quantity surveying service across a range of projects (Infrastructures project (civil, electromechanical scope)

Prepare material take-offs on assigned contract, tender, or project from engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.

Generate Bill of Quantities from drawings as per the scope of work.

Reviews take-offs prepared by others to check for completeness, appropriate definition, and accuracy.

Prepare and review the direct/indirect cost and identify and evaluate the risks to be considered.

Collaborating with various organizations for determining the exact scope of work required in estimating report,

Perform all necessary Site Visit arrangements and reports

Developing the MTOs, and verifying the same against project drawings, P&IDs, etc.

Quantity Survey to verify quantities

Pre Design and Breakdown for Lump sum Items

Preparing the RFQ (Request for quotations) to suppliers/subcontractors, Study drawings, Study Specifications, Generate RFQ

Selection of Corresponding Trusted, Suppliers / Subcontractors

Sending the RFQ and Following up with them

Verifying the received offers (Technically and Commercially)

Negotiate for a valuable discount

Developing detailed cost estimates, providing multi discipline project concepts with distinctive cost estimating procedure, beneficial for capital raising projects for the company

Reviewing the method / procedure adopted by the organization for estimation purpose, and determining the scope of development in the same

Estimating the necessaries man-hours

Reviewing and recording the existing revenue estimates of the company, tallying the records with previous estimates with current results, considering the difference in current estimation analysis for accurate results, etc.

Indirect cost (Labor camp, site offices, site laboratory, temporary site work, site facilities, site utilities, vehicles, Management Staff, mobilization/demobilization.
