Engineer - Procurement and Cotracts

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineer – Procurement & Contracts to join our team. The role involves managing procurement processes, reviewing contracts, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Prepare, review, and analyze BOQs for projects.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to align procurement with project timelines.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure procurement aligns with cost control objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Assist in resolving procurement-related disputes and contract issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of planning experience in construction projects (buildings, infrastructure, or industrial).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, procurement processes, and contract law.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or project management software is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred with own visa / sponsored visa
