What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Embedded Linux Engineer who will join our team at R&D Directorate .

• Developing high quality Embedded Linux based software solutions for connected home appliances.
• Building custom Linux distributions using Yocto Project, developing layers and recipes, and maintaining existing BSP structures.
• Performing BSP integration, driver adaptation, and platform bring-up activities on NXP i.MX series processor platforms.
• Contributing to Linux kernel configuration, device tree modifications, and platform driver development.
• Conducting software validation, debugging, and performance analysis on target hardware.
  
  
  

Position located in Tuzla, İstanbul .

How do we decribe perfect match?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, or a related field; new graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux development environments, including kernel, bootloader (U-Boot), and rootfs concepts.
• Academic project or internship experience in building custom distributions or layers with Yocto Project.
• Hands-on exposure to NXP i.MX platforms (e.g., i.MX6, i.MX8) through internship or project work.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems; experience with Python for automation and test scripting is a plus.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN, as well as hardware debugging techniques (JTAG, oscilloscope).
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a research-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability to new technologies and a passion for continuous learning
