Job Purpose


The Manager, Installation & Maintenance oversees all equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with McDonald’s RICC standards and operational requirements. The role manages technical services processes, monitors equipment performance, ensures service‑level adherence, and optimizes resource utilization. It leads inspections, coordinates with service providers, and resolves technical issues efficiently. Additionally, the manager develops and supervises engineers, technicians, and coordinators to deliver reliable equipment performance, support store operations, and maintain high-quality service across all locations.


Job Responsibilities


  • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance to ensure compliance with McDonald’s–RICC standards.
  • Develop and update technical procedures, inspection schedules, and quality guidelines.
  • Monitor store equipment performance, warranties, and overall technical service effectiveness.
  • Manage service providers, ensure SLA fulfillment, and reduce downtime.
  • Review and approve maintenance work orders and resource utilization.
  • Lead and develop engineers, technicians, and coordinators, providing direction, feedback, and performance management.
  • Lead multiple installation and maintenance projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery, clear coordination, and alignment with McDonald’s RICC standards.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor technical projects, managing timelines, risks, and resource allocation efficiently.
  • Demonstrate strong people management capabilities by guiding, coaching, and developing engineers, technicians, and coordinators.
  • Maintain flexibility and availability to respond to urgent operational needs, unexpected breakdowns, and peak maintenance periods.
  • Oversee and prioritize a large volume of maintenance requests across all stores, ensuring quick response, minimized downtime, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Review and approve work orders while ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
  • Manage maintenance and installation budgets effectively, optimizing costs, forecasting requirements, and ensuring spending aligns with corporate guidelines.
  • Monitor financial performance of technical services and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Conduct continuous assessment, evaluation, and scoring of vendors and service providers.
  • Provide feedback, initiate corrective actions, and recommend contract renewals or replacements based on performance and compliance with SLAs.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical or civil engineering.
  • 6–8 years of experience in technical services, maintenance, or equipment management.
  • Strong management, communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal departments and external service providers.
