Engineering Associate

Location: Bahrain

Languages: English and Arabic is a must

Type: Full-time, On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all planning, permitting, pre-construction, and construction activities during the

project execution phase

• Act as liaison between BTI and key technical stakeholders including DTEB (architects), MJC

(contractors), and relevant government authorities

• Assist DTEB with construction supervision and site coordination

• Support equipment suppliers with inspection, delivery, installation, and commissioning of

machinery

• Coordinate utility connections and infrastructure setup, including power supply with EWA

• Ensure technical documentation, approvals, and compliance are in place throughout

construction

• Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to safety and technical standards

• Support plant operations post-construction, including technical workflows, maintenance

coordination, and process improvement

• Assist with production monitoring, data analysis, and reporting of technical KPIs

• Contribute to procurement and vendor coordination for technical components and spare parts

• Participate in any additional technical workstreams across construction, operations, and

engineering

Requirements:

• Bahraini National

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering

• 4+ years of experience in industrial construction, manufacturing, or related fields

• Familiarity with project execution, equipment installation, and facility commissioning

• Strong technical documentation and coordination skills

• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and government agencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
