Engineered Materials Interconnects & Packaging (EMIP) is a leading manufacturer of electronic connectors and electrical packaging designed to protect sensitive electronic devices in critical applications for aerospace, industrial, petrochemical, subsea and telecommunications industries. We also specialize in custom cable assemblies and interconnects for medical devices and is a leader in specialty metal alloys, powdered and clad metals, strip and foils.

Position Summary & Key Responsibilities:

As an AMETEK Engineer, you will have the opportunity to pursue multiple paths throughout your career including:
  • Design Engineering Opening Information
  • Field Applications Engineering
  • Sales and Business Development
  • Operations (Quality/Supply Chain)
  • Business Leadership and General Management

Our Engineering internship opportunity will build your technical expertise in a variety of business applications. You’ll work with innovative technologies and learn from some of the best Engineering leaders in the business. Throughout your assignments, you’ll collaborate with team members, customers, and suppliers to solve business problems. Examples of developmental work assignments:
  • Design new, and evaluate existing products, processes, and/or systems
  • Participate in operational process improvement initiatives that impact key
performance indicators
  • Work on cross functional project teams with colleagues in Marketing, Sales,
R&D, and Operations

Requirements for Consideration:
Successful candidates should possess the following:
  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in the
  • engineering function
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Related work or internship experience and results oriented through initiative,
  • ownership, and accountability
  • Applicants must have unrestricted US work authorization (forms of CPT and PT are restricted work authorization)

Compensation

Employee Type: Hourly
Salary Minimum: $40,000
Salary Maximum: $45,000
Incentive: No
