🚢 We’re Hiring: Marine Lead (Civil)

📍 Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Marine Lead (Civil) to join a major energy infrastructure development project. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing marine engineering design and execution across FEED and EPC phases.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead marine engineering activities from design through to startup
• Oversee FEED & EPC contractors to ensure delivery aligns with technical, budget, and schedule requirements
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex marine engineering issues
• Monitor discipline progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Ensure all marine designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate across engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams
• Support berth-related design, dredging activities, and marine studies
• Engage with stakeholders including port authorities and operations teams

🛠️ What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Marine discipline or equivalent
• STCW II/2 or III/2 certification preferred
• Minimum 8 years of seagoing experience , including leadership as Chief Engineer or Master
• Strong experience in offshore marine operations within the oil & gas industry
• Expertise in marine engineering design, including berths, dredging, and mooring systems
• Familiarity with marine simulation tools (e.g., Optimoor)
• Knowledge of international maritime codes, standards, and regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
