Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Full-Stack & AI/ML) to lead our engineering team at Paladin Tech. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development and AI/ML technologies, with proven leadership skills to manage a cross-functional team. This role is responsible for driving the architecture, development, and delivery of our AI-powered product suite—including solutions in deepfake detection, video analytics, big data intelligence, AI assistants, and decision support systems. The Engineering Manager will play a critical role in shaping our technical vision, ensuring scalability, and delivering impactful solutions for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Full Stack and AI/ML Engineers.
• Oversee the design, development, and delivery of multiple AI-driven products (DeepGaze, Phonetic AI, Intellex, IntelliScan, IntelliView, AI Assistant).
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices across architecture, coding standards, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Guide product integration of AI/ML models into scalable applications for enterprise clients.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and leadership teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient on cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• Drive innovation by staying current with trends in AI, machine learning, and big data technologies.
• Contribute to hiring, team structuring, and strategic growth of the engineering organization.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership/management role.
• Strong background in Full Stack Development (e.g., Python, Node.js, React/Next.js, microservices).
• Hands-on expertise in AI/ML: computer vision, NLP, data pipelines, and model deployment.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scalable infra.
• Experience leading agile teams and managing product lifecycles from concept to deployment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical contribution.

Nice to Have

• Experience in deepfake detection, video analytics, or big data platforms.
• Exposure to AI assistants or enterprise decision support tools.
• Background in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or regulated industries.
• Prior success in scaling engineering teams within fast-paced startups.
