Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our software development teams. This role requires a strong technical background combined with proven leadership skills to drive execution, ensure engineering excellence, and foster innovation. The ideal candidate will balance hands-on technical contributions with people management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers (SDEs, Sr. SDEs, etc.)
• Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to define roadmaps and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Establish and enforce best practices in coding standards, architecture, testing, and deployment
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development sessions with engineers
• Promote a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and innovation
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and bring relevant improvements to the stack
• Manage resource planning, hiring, and team scaling
• Monitor engineering metrics (velocity, quality, uptime) and drive continuous improvements
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8-12 years of overall software development experience, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership/managerial role
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in full-stack development (Node.js, Java, Go, Python, React, Flutter, or similar)
• Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and scalable distributed systems
• Proven experience leading teams delivering high-quality products in fast-paced environments
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

• Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
