Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Conway, SC
Duration: Direct Hire
Salary: $125-150K DOE Relocation and Bonus Eligible Plus Excellent Benefits
Must Have: Process Engineering experience and mindset, Project Management and very hands on.
Responsibilities of Position:

Lead and manage the engineering department, including product, manufacturing, process, and project engineering teams.

Develop and implement engineering strategies that improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and energy efficiency.

Oversee process control and electrical engineering activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality assurance, and supply chain to support seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Drive energy management initiatives to optimize resource utilization and reduce environmental impact.

Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.

Analyze engineering data and metrics to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings.

Manage and approve/deny capital projects. Contribute productivity improvements & commit the profit based on Company mid-term plan.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering roles within durable goods manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership position.

Proven experience in engineering management, project engineering, and process control.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and energy management practices.

Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Familiarity with advanced process control systems and automation technologies.

Previous experience working in a durable goods manufacturing environment with a focus on sustainability initiatives.
