The HSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the WTG manufacturing facility and associated electrical substation operations. The role requires proactive risk management, regulatory alignment, and fostering a strong safety culture among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Compliance C Standards

Ensure adherence to local, national, and international HSE regulations, ISO standards, and company policies.

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems tailored to WTG factory and substation operations.

Risk Management

Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and job safety analyses for manufacturing and electrical activities.

Implement preventive and corrective measures to mitigate risks.

Safety Operations

Oversee safe work practices in high-voltage substation environments and heavy machinery operations in the factory.

Monitor contractor and employee compliance with PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space, and electrical safety procedures.

Training C Awareness

Deliver HSE induction, toolbox talks, and specialized training programs for staff and contractors.

Promote a culture of safety through awareness campaigns and continuous engagement.

Incident Management

Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Qualifications s Skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health C Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety, renewable energy manufacturing processes, and substation operations.
Proven experience in HSE management within industrial or energy projects (5–10 years).
Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
