An Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and efficient environment for guests and team members. This includes conducting daily inspections, supervising repairs, and coordinating renovation and maintenance projects.

What will I be doing?

As an Engineering Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all engineering and maintenance activities within the hotel.
• Conducting daily inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Supervising and assisting in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensuring all hotel fixtures, fittings, and equipment are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
• Leading and supporting the engineering team to deliver high-quality service and timely maintenance.
• Coordinating and monitoring renovation and upgrade projects, including defining scope, budgeting, and supervising contractors.
• Developing and implementing emergency response procedures and safety protocols.
• Managing energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring team members are trained accordingly.
• Building strong working relationships with internal departments and external service providers.
• Handling special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• First Aid certification
• Vocational or technical training in engineering, facilities management, or a related field
• Experience in energy management or sustainability initiatives
