Maintenance Team Leader

Doha, Qatar

Job Description

  • Proactive preventive maintenance
  • Managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical equipment and other building systems,
  • Supervision of the maintenance technicians.
  • Researching and gathering information related to vendors, contractors, equipment, and supplies.
  • Daily check on equipment and maintain par stocks and distribution and movement of inventory store materials and tools.
  • Review outsourced contractors’ performances, compile monthly reports and checklists as per contract agreement.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate the overall quality work of the team and demonstrate understanding of quality standards including ISO and Quality Management systems.

Skills

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have experience in relevant industry (hotel, resort, residential towers, or properties in general)
  • Good leadership qualities, including organization and planning.
  • Strong technical background of all building systems and can recognize electrical, plumbing, ventilation and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures.
  • Be able to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and CAD
  • Knowledge on health & safety practices and regulations

Education

2-year technical or trade school graduate in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration & AC
