Engineers (Energy Metering Factory)

A reputed and diversified Group of Companies, operating across Manufacturing, Retail, Hoteling, Sports,Construction and Investment sectors, is establishing a new Energy Metering Manufacturing Facility. We invite applications from qualified, motivated, and technically competent Engineers for the following position:

Position: Engineer –Energy Metering

(Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics)

Experience:

• Fresh Graduates (training-based induction)
• 2–3 Years of Relevant Experience

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Industry: Smart Energy Metering Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and execution of AMI energy meter production and assembly
• Laboratory testing of single-phase and three-phase smart meters
• Participation in prototype development, testing, and validation
• Assistance in UDI / UDIL compliance, labeling, and documentation
• Technical support in procurement of electrical and electronic components
• Coordination with QA/QC, Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams
• Preparation of test reports, SOPs, and technical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with national and international standards

Qualification & Skills:

• BSc / BE in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
• (HEC recognized university)
• Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals and interest in AMI/smart metering are encouraged

• 2–3 years’ experience preferred in:
• Energy or smart meter manufacturing
• Electronics production & lab testing
• Prototype development
• Technical procurement & vendor coordination
• Familiarity with AMI systems and smart metering conceptsPreferred Standards & Technologies:

Experience or understanding of the following will be considered an added advantage:

• IEC Standards: IEC 62052, IEC 62053
• DLMS/COSEM protocol
• AMI / Smart Metering Architecture
• Communication technologies: PLC, GPRS / NB-IoT (basic understanding)
• Compliance requirements of DISCOs / utilities (where applicable)
