Role Description

This is a part-time remote role as an Online Tutor for various subjects at Filo. As an Online Tutor, you will provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring sessions to students via the Filo platform. You will assist students in understanding challenging concepts, helping them solve problems, and achieving their academic goals. Responsibilities include preparing for sessions, addressing students' queries promptly, and fostering a positive, engaging, and professional learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong subject matter expertise in specific academic disciplines or subjects
• Excellent communication and teaching skills for explaining complex topics
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual student needs
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms or online tutoring tools
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for education
• Reliable internet connection and access to a quiet, professional working environment
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly beneficial
