• Teach English language and literature to students in accordance with the CBSE syllabus.
• Plan and prepare lesson plans that align with CBSE guidelines and learning objectives.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and tools to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills effectively.
• Assess and evaluate students’ performance regularly through tests, assignments, and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of student’s grades, and progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Encourage students’ interest in literature, creative writing, and language skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to school policies, CBSE regulations, and safety standards.
• Participation in school events and extracurricular activities may be required.
• Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in English with B.Ed.
• Experience in teaching English in CBSE-affiliated schools is an advantage.
• Strong command of the English language in both written and spoken.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and student development.
• Well versed with CBSE curriculum, exam patterns, and assessment methods.
