Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and inspiring English Teacher Middle Years to join our Academics Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English language and literature, experience in teaching middle school students, and the ability to nurture critical thinking, creativity, and advanced communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Develop students’ analytical, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through interactive teaching strategies.
• Introduce students to a variety of literary genres, texts, and writing forms.
• Encourage creativity, debate, and independent thinking through projects, discussions, and research-based activities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare lesson plans, resources, and classroom displays to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary and cross-curricular activities.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enrich classroom instruction.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with effective discipline strategies and respect for diversity.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
• Strong knowledge of English language and literature pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students and parents.
• Ability to challenge, inspire, and support learners at varying ability levels.
• Strong organizational, classroom management, and assessment skills.
• Familiarity with modern educational technology and innovative teaching tools.
