English Test Prep Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Test Prep Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and utilizing various teaching methodologies to enhance student learning. The English Teacher will work with diverse groups of students, including adults, and will be responsible for adapting curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.

Requirements:

• Strong familiarity with SAT, ISEE, STAR, and similar exams (format, question types, strategies)
• Ability to teach test-taking skills and boost students’ confidence and performance
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in test prep is preferred
• Patient, responsible, and able to motivate students

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction in test strategies and exam skills
• Develop customized study plans and track student progress
• Review and explain past exam questions and practice tests

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $33.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 40 per week
