Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Printing / Laser Engraving Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing custom T-shirts and engraving artworks, preparing files for production, and operating printing and laser engraving machines to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Design Creation & Customization

• T-shirt Design: Create custom designs for T-shirts based on client specifications or company branding.
• Laser Engraving Design: Develop and prepare designs that are suitable for laser engraving, which requires attention to detail for precision.
• Design Adaptation: Modify designs to fit different product sizes, colors, and materials (e.g., different fabric types or surfaces for engraving).
• Conceptualization & Creativity: Conceptualize unique and eye-catching designs, graphics, and artworks based on customer requests or market trends.

Graphic Software Proficiency

• Software Use: Proficiently use graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or other relevant tools to create and edit designs.
• File Preparation: Prepare files for printing and laser engraving in the correct formats (e.g., SVG, EPS, PNG, PDF) with the right color profiles and resolutions.
• Mockups & Prototypes: Create digital mockups or prototypes of the final product, especially when working with clients to visualize designs on T-shirts or engraved items. Printing Machine Operation
• T-shirt Printing: Operate printing machines such as screen printing, heat press, or direct-to-garment (DTG) printers to apply designs onto T-shirts.
• Material Handling: Select and manage different types of fabrics and other materials for printing or engraving, ensuring compatibility with the design.
• Print Quality Assurance: Monitor print quality, adjust settings (e.g., ink type, pressure, temperature), and troubleshoot any issues like color mismatch, image clarity, or machine malfunctions.
• Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance of printing equipment to ensure its optimal functioning, including cleaning, calibrating, and replacing components as needed.

Laser Engraving Operations

• Laser Setup: Set up and calibrate the laser engraving machine for specific projects, adjusting power, speed, and other settings based on the material.
• Engraving Design: Convert designs to be suitable for engraving (e.g., vectorization) and ensure they are optimized for different surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, or acrylic.
• Engraving Quality Control: Inspect the engraving process to ensure that it meets quality standards, checking for precision, depth, and clarity of the design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
