Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience with HL7 FHIR (R4/R5), SMART on FHIR, RESTful APIs, and interoperability frameworks.
- Deep understanding of HL7 v2, C-CDA, DICOM, IHE profiles (XDS, PIX/PDQ).
- Hands-on experience with major EHR platforms (EPIC, Cerner, etc.).
- Cloud architecture experience across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Expertise in API gateways, microservices, event-driven architectures (Kafka), integration engines (Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf).
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and provider operations (inpatient, outpatient, specialty care, ED).
- Familiarity with clinical decision support, care management, quality measures, and patient engagement ecosystems.
- Knowledge of terminology/ontology management (SNOMED, LOINC, ICD-10).
Roles & Responsibilities
- 10–18 years of total IT experience; 4–6 years in architecture roles.
- 3+ years experience with FHIR or clinical interoperability.
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: TOGAF, HL7/FHIR, EPIC/Cerner certifications, Azure/AWS architect.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year
