The Architectural Landscape
Situated in the iconic Arraya Tower, GLS Systems is seeking an Enterprise Architect to serve as the master strategist for our multi-layered technology stack. This is a top-tier role for a professional who views an organization not as a collection of apps, but as a living ecosystem of data and logic. You will be responsible for the high-level design and structural integrity of all corporate IT assets, ensuring that GLS Systems remains the most robust technological entity in Kuwait City.

Core Architectural Domains

• Business-Technology Alignment: Define and govern the enterprise-wide technology standards that map directly to GLS Systems’ long-term commercial objectives and operational scalability.
• Infrastructure & Cloud Orchestration: Design the overarching blueprints for hybrid-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration between legacy on-premise systems and modern SaaS distributed architectures.
• Data Governance & Flow Integrity: Establish the master data management (MDM) frameworks that ensure a "single source of truth" across all business units, optimizing for both security and rapid retrieval.
• Technical Debt Governance: Lead the continuous evaluation of the current technology portfolio, identifying aging infrastructure for decommissioning and managing the strategic rollout of emerging replacements.

Candidate DNA

• Experience Horizon: 10+ years in IT leadership or senior architecture roles, with a proven history of managing complex enterprise-scale transformations in the GCC or international markets.
• Strategic Toolkit: Mastery of TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF frameworks; deep architectural knowledge of ERP (SAP/Oracle), CRM systems, and microservices-based integration patterns.
• Communication Standards: Advanced C2-level proficiency in professional English is mandatory for high-stakes board presentations and technical policy drafting.
• Asynchronous Knowledge Archiving: Expert-level proficiency in using Loom to record "Architecture Decisions Records" (ADRs) and high-level system walkthroughs for technical stakeholders.
