Job Purpose:

To establish, implement, and oversee the organization's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the business.


Key Accountabilities:

ERM Framework Development and Implementation:

  1. Develop a comprehensive ERM framework aligned with industry standards.
  2. Define risk management roles and responsibilities across the organization.
  3. Implement risk management processes and procedures.


Risk Identification and Assessment.

  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential risks across all business units and functions.
  2. Categorize risks based on severity and potential impact on the organization.


Risk Mitigation and Response.

  1. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  2. Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and adjust as needed.
  3. Develop contingency plans for high-impact, low-probability risks.


Risk Reporting and Communication:

  1. Prepare regular risk reports for management and stakeholders.
  2. Communicate risk information effectively to different levels of the organization.
  3. Develop and maintain a risk register, including risk ownership and accountability.
  4. Provide risk-related insights to support decision-making processes.


Regulatory Compliance:

  1. Ensure compliance with relevant risk management regulations and standards.
  2. Monitor regulatory changes and update risk management practices accordingly.
  3. Plan with compliance and legal departments on risk-related matters.


Continuous Improvement:

  1. Identify opportunities to enhance the ERM framework and processes.
  2. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging risk trends.
