Risk Management Manager

Our client is a fast-growing financial services and digital assets organization operating in a highly regulated environment. The company is seeking a Risk Management Manager to lead and further strengthen its enterprise-wide risk management framework, covering operational, financial, compliance, and strategic risks.

Role Overview:

The role is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and managing all key risks across the organization, including information systems. The position plays a critical role in defining risk mitigation strategies, reporting risk exposures to senior management and the Board, and overseeing the implementation of a price surveillance system in line with applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework, including policies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Define and monitor risk appetite and risk tolerance levels; prepare regular management reports on deviations and corrective actions
• Ensure the maintenance of enterprise risk registers and the timely preparation of risk and control profile reports, supported by periodic risk assessments
• Develop and manage risk dashboards and key risk indicators (KRIs) to monitor risk exposure, identify deviations, and support management decision-making
• Collaborate with Department Heads to review risk and control environments, ensure alignment with corporate objectives, and incorporate improvement recommendations
• Identify, assess, manage, and report material risks impacting the organization
• Prepare risk management reports for the Board of Directors and Executive Committees
• Track global trends and developments in insurance and enterprise risk management to continuously enhance the existing framework and minimize overall risk impact

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in risk management within the financial services sector, preferably with exposure to digital assets / crypto-related businesses
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and project risk methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to design risk frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
• In-depth knowledge of Turkey’s regulatory environment for capital markets and digital assets (e.g., CMB/SPK, MASAK ) as well as relevant international compliance standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Professional certifications in risk management or compliance are considered a strong advantage
