Overview

The Marketing Assistant will support the CEO in creating, organizing, and scheduling marketing content across multiple platforms. This includes social media posting, email newsletters, behind-the-scenes content capture, and working with editing tools like CapCut.
You will be an essential part of our marketing team, supporting the development and execution of innovative campaigns across multiple channels. Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and schedule social media content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes photos and video during classes, shoots, and on-site projects.
  • Assemble short-form videos using CapCut (or similar editing tools).
  • Draft, format, and schedule weekly email newsletters using Mailchimp.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual style, and messaging across all platforms and campaigns.
  • Organize media files, content calendars, project folders, and marketing assets.
  • Research social media trends, hashtags, competitor activity, and audience behavior to inform content and marketing ideas.
  • Support on-site production needs, including basic camera, lighting, and audio setup.
  • Assist with general marketing administration: note-taking, asset organization, and meeting follow-ups.
  • Proofread and quality-check all content for grammar, accuracy, and brand alignment before posting.
  • Contribute to multi-channel marketing campaigns across social media, email, print, and digital platforms.
  • Conduct industry and competitor research to support campaign planning and strategy.
  • Assist with content creation, including writing copy for posts, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials.
  • Help manage and monitor social media accounts: scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing engagement metrics.
  • Support SEO efforts by optimizing website content, performing keyword research, and implementing basic SEO strategies.
  • Use marketing automation tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the team on advertising and sales initiatives.
  • Maintain organized documentation of campaign activities, performance reports, and research findings.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, content marketing, and performance marketing.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing tools and paid advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
  • Experience with CapCut, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating and editing visual content.
  • Basic understanding of video equipment such as tripods, lighting, and microphones.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and basic HTML for website updates or simple design edits.
  • Strong research abilities, including analyzing data and insights through Google Analytics and other analytics tools.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with attention to clarity, tone, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to write short-form captions, email copy, and marketing language with accuracy and creativity.
  • Familiarity with major social platforms and their posting, scheduling, and engagement features.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality control in all content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while collaborating well with a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines without the need for micromanagement.
  • Passion for marketing, creativity, and storytelling, with a willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Comfortable capturing content or assisting on set during classes, shoots, and on-site projects.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
