Environmental Scientist to join our dynamic Water team at our Greenville, SC office. This position is a hybrid (Greenville, SC office/remote) work position primarily responsible for assisting with technical delivery and design of stream bank stabilization/restoration projects as well as other water design projects. This position will be part of a team engaging with clients across the Utilities Market in support of client objectives in the areas of Stormwater/Wastewater/Water Design, H&H Modeling, Surface Water Quality, Data Analytics, Asset Management, and related studies and analyses. This position will perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be support of stream stabilization/rehabilitation design

Support various phases of our stormwater/wastewater/water projects

Design and drafting in Civil 3d software Field work, as needed, to collect data to support design decisions.

Perform technical aspects of specified deliverables consistent with scope, schedule and budget. Meet internal and external project deadlines.

Complying with clearly defined QA/QC measures.

Communicates issues affecting task or project schedule, budget or quality and escalates unresolved issues to project manager, team leader, and/or discipline leader
Qualifications:
- Degree emphasis on natural resources is preferred

Experience in stream stabilization and rehabilitation design is preferred
-
1–3 years of experience in water resources, stormwater, or site civil design preferred.

Proven efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)

Experience in AutoCad Civil 3D

Experience in GIS software is preferred

Experience with H&H modeling (e.g., SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS) is a plus

Must be able to make sound design decisions/recommendations based on the evaluation and synthesis of project information and data.

Must be able to interface effectively with clients, contractors, and other internal Woolpert resources.

Must have a desire to work in the field when needed, including wet weather conditions.

Must possess strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Must possess strong organizational skills to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities.

Posted Salary Range: USD $55,200.00 - USD $82,800.00 /Yr.
