What is the Summary of This Position?

In this role, you will be responsible for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) strategies, policies, practices and sustainability in Ulkar-Nobel.

Which Profile Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering,
• At least 10 years of experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety and Environment,
• Experience in OHS and Environmental auditing,
• Knowledge about explosion protection document and risk analysis reports,
• Having certificates of at least Class B Occupational Safety Expert. and Environmental Environmental Officer,
• Advanced user of MS office applications,
• Excellent command of English. (written and spoken)

What You'll Be Doing?

• Ensuring the propagation of behavior-based safety culture,
• Making sure that risk analyses are updated and actively implemented,
• Participating in project works regarding modifications to current equipment, procurement of new equipment, and changes related to field processes and in this context, determining Environment, Health, and Safety strategy,
• Obtaining necessary permissions from relevant authorities, submitting reports to the regulating institutions, and ensuring that field permit conditions are met,
• Pioneering internal and external audits and/or self-evaluations,
• Having knowledge of ISO 45001 OHS Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems,
• By running exercises, training, and evaluations for the facility to be prepared for emergency situations, keeping track of actions to be taken in cooperation with the relevant departments.
