Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Job Description

• Provide leadership for the Environment, Health & Safety Program across the plant.

• Maintain and build a high standard of safety to prevent accidents, injuries, and work-related illness in the workplace.

• Follow policies and procedures to ensure business activities within the manufacturing comply with the legal requirements of the country in which operations are conducted.

• Manage the plant EHS program, ensuring that areas of risk are identified.

• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to minimize risk.

• Reporting, Investigating, and carrying out root cause analysis along with the team member for incidents, near misses, etc, to avoid repetition.

• Provide hands-on shop floor training.


Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in HSE roles within manufacturing or industrial environments, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven track record in implementing HSE management systems and driving cultural change.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance.
