What You'll Be Doing?

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in alignment with local regulations and international standards.
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental legislation, and company policies.
• Lead risk assessments, hazard identification studies (PHA, HAZOP) and implement preventive action plans to mitigate operational risks.
• Develop and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) systems in line with SEVESO directives, including MOC, PSSR, PSI, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish and monitor HSE KPIs, prepare regular performance reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce accidents, near misses, and environmental impact.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 50001) and ensure ongoing certification compliance.
• Manage emergency preparedness, crisis management procedures, and emergency response drills.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training programs, awareness campaigns, and leadership engagement.
• Ensure compliance with ADR regulations for hazardous materials transportation and oversee chemical safety practices.
• Supervise waste management, emissions monitoring, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency, water management, and carbon footprint reduction.
• Develop and manage annual HSE operational (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets.
• Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with company HSE standards, including managing the Permit-to-Work system.
• Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure safe operational practices.
• Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the HSE team while benchmarking industry best practices.

Who We're Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments.
• B-Class Occupational Safety Certificate (or equivalent professional certification).
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, environmental regulations, and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 50001).
• Solid understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) and risk management in production facilities.
• Experience managing HSE audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance processes.
• Knowledge of ATEX, fire safety, and machinery safety principles is highly preferred.
• NEBOSH certification is considered a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with ADR regulations for hazardous materials transportation.
• Experience in environmental management practices including waste, emissions, energy, and sustainability initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to influence and build a strong safety culture.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
