Position Overview
Frontier Geoservices is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Environmental Administrative Assistant to support our environmental consulting operations. This role is integral to maintaining efficient project workflows, supporting field staff, and ensuring high-quality documentation for environmental assessments, investigations, and remediation projects.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting environment and will play a key role in managing project records, assisting with report preparation, coordinating logistics, and supporting day-to-day office operations. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrative support for environmental consulting projects, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), site investigations, and remedial activities
- Assist with preparation, formatting, and proofreading of technical reports, including Phase I ESA reports, field summaries, and client deliverables
- Organize and maintain project files, including digital photographs, field notes, laboratory data, and regulatory correspondence
- Support development of photographic logs, appendices, and figures for environmental reports
- Coordinate scheduling for site visits, field activities, and project deadlines
- Assist with data entry and tracking for environmental sampling, field observations, and project documentation
- Maintain office organization, supply inventory, and general administrative operations
- Utilize Microsoft Office for document preparation, spreadsheets, and internal coordination
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in formatting, proofreading, and document consistency
- Experience with administrative or clerical work, preferably in a technical or consulting environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across active projects
- Strong organizational skills, especially with digital file management and structured documentation
- Clear and professional communication skills (phone and email)
- Ability to work independently while supporting a small, collaborative team
- Interest in environmental science, consulting, or regulatory work is highly desirable

Pay: $23.55 - $28.36 per hour
