Environmental Engineer Intern

• Assist in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and Sustainability Reports for oil and gas projects.

• Support senior engineers in data collection, modeling, and analysis related to air emissions, water usage, waste management, and energy efficiency.

• Participate in environmental audits and compliance reviews in line with local and international regulations (e.g., IFC, World Bank, EPA).

• Contribute to design reviews to ensure environmental considerations are incorporated into engineering solutions.

• Conduct research on best practices, new technologies, and regulatory trends in environmental management within the oil and gas sector.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and client meetings.

• Assist in developing environmental monitoring programs and performance metrics.

• Support the team in implementing ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

• Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering (Environmental specialization), or related field.

• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, EIA/EMP processes, and pollution prevention techniques.

• Familiarity with environmental modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD, HYSYS Environmental Module, or equivalent) is an advantage.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of AutoCAD or GIS tools.

• Good analytical, research, and report-writing skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

• Interest in sustainability and innovation in oil and gas design.
