Assist in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and Sustainability Reports for oil and gas projects.
Support senior engineers in data collection, modeling, and analysis related to air emissions, water usage, waste management, and energy efficiency.
Participate in environmental audits and compliance reviews in line with local and international regulations (e.g., IFC, World Bank, EPA).
Contribute to design reviews to ensure environmental considerations are incorporated into engineering solutions.
Conduct research on best practices, new technologies, and regulatory trends in environmental management within the oil and gas sector.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and client meetings.
Assist in developing environmental monitoring programs and performance metrics.
Support the team in implementing ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering (Environmental specialization), or related field.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations, EIA/EMP processes, and pollution prevention techniques.
Familiarity with environmental modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD, HYSYS Environmental Module, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of AutoCAD or GIS tools.
Good analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Interest in sustainability and innovation in oil and gas design.
