Environmental Services Housekeeper

Do you have great customer service skills and want to make a real difference behind the scenes? The Allen County Public Library is hiring a Full-Time 2nd-Shift Environmental Services Housekeeper to work at our Main Library in downtown, Fort Wayne. This role is essential to keeping our library clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and the community we serve.

Pay: $14.77–$16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm

What you'll do

• Clean and maintain library spaces by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning floors

• Dust furniture, counters, shelves, windowsills, and blinds

• Empty, clean, and line trash and recycling receptacles

• Wash doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and metal fixtures

• Help create a clean, comfortable environment that supports learning and community connection
