We are currently seeking a talented “Environmental & Sustainability Specialist” to join our dynamic “Global HSE” team. Based in “ HQ, Kocaeli ” this role will contribute to transformative projects under the Consumer Group.

Qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree Environmental Engineering departments,
  • Experienced in the field of sustainability for 3 years,
  • Experienced in Sustainability Reporting or taking part in the work team,
  • Knowledge of carbon footprint calculation,
  • Experienced in supplier & sub-manufacturer relations and process management,
  • Knowledge of national and international laws and regulations on sustainability,
  • Knowledge of ILO conventions, UN Global Compact principles,
  • Knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the EU Green Deal,
  • Having audit experience on social and environmental issues (Sedex etc.),
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken,
  • No military obligation for male candidates.


Job Description;

  • Creating internal definitions and strategy on environmental and social sustainability issues,
  • Contribute to the vision of the company by following the developments related to sustainability, new opportunities and possibilities, new regulations,
  • Collecting and interpreting data on sustainability and preparing relevant reports,
  • Developing tools / projects that allow the company to expand and deepen the understanding of sustainability,
  • Supporting the collection of data from the relevant departments in the preparation of the annual sustainability report,
  • To follow and support practices within the scope of environmental legislation such as waste management, packaging waste notification, ECBS system use, zero waste processes in plants and headquarter,
  • To carry out relevant research and studies in line with the company's sustainability strategy on environmental and sustainability issues,
  • To carry out the ISO 14001-14064 environmental management system and supporting the continuation of the practices,
  • Follow up the legislative changes in the processes it owns,
  • Ensure the up-to-dateness and integrity of the documents related to the processes it owns,
  • To Follow the Continuous Emission Measurement System and report the outputs of the system,
  • To carry out verification process of GHG’s in line with the legislation,
  • To carry out measurement of emissions and related revisions in line with the legislation.
