General summary:
The Epic ASAP Application Analyst II supports complex clinical and business applications to enhance their performance, reliability, and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves analyzing user needs, configuring and optimizing systems, and troubleshooting issues under moderate supervision. The analyst collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure applications and third-party systems meet clinical and business requirements while integrating seamlessly across the organization. Additionally, this role performs testing, documentation, and analysis to support system design and workflows, contributing to the continuous improvement of healthcare and business operations.
Key responsibilities include application configuration, conducting analysis of workflows and data collection, and executing comprehensive testing for system enhancements and integrations. The role ensures seamless integration of applications with cross-functional systems while maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and their healthcare applications. Additionally, the Analyst II plays a vital role in projects or project tasks to drive system improvements and organizational success.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze user needs and business workflows to support the configuration and optimization of clinical and business applications.

Configure, maintain, and enhance complex application systems under moderate supervision. 
- 
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure applications and third-party systems meet operational, clinical, and technical requirements.

Perform comprehensive system testing, including planning, execution, and documentation of test results for new features, enhancements, and integrations. 
- 
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues to support system reliability and performance. 
- 
Ensure seamless integration of applications with other cross-functional and enterprise-wide systems. 
- 
Conduct workflow and data analysis to support informed decision-making and system improvements. 
- 
Contribute to the design, documentation, and implementation of system changes that align with organizational goals. 
- 
Participate in project activities and lead assigned project tasks to support successful delivery of IT initiatives. 
- 
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and their application within the healthcare or business environment. 
- 
Support continuous improvement of system functionality and end-user experience. 
EDUCATION:
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- 
Epic ASAP certification required. 
- 
Clinical employees must maintain licensure appropriate to clinical education and training, without lapse. 
- 
Epic Analysts must satisfactorily complete and maintain required Epic certification testing. 
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 
Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for all remote/hybrid positions. 
- 
Must have access to stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth to support video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work-related activities. 
- 
A HIPAA-compliant work environment is required, including a secure workspace free from unauthorized access or interruptions, no use of public Wi-Fi unless connected through a secure company-provided VPN, and compliance with all applicable HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
