Epoxy Painter

We are seeking a detail-oriented Epoxy Floor Painter to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing concrete surfaces and applying specialized epoxy coatings to industrial, commercial, and residential floors. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, understands chemical mixing ratios, and takes pride in delivering a flawless, durable finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean, degrease, and repair concrete surfaces; operate floor grinders, shot blasters, and power washers to ensure proper adhesion.
• Application: Apply primers, base coats, metallic pigments, flakes, and topcoats using rollers, squeegees, and brushes.
• Mixing: Accurately measure and mix multi-part epoxy resins and hardeners according to technical data sheets.
• Quality Control: Identify and fix imperfections such as bubbles, debris, or uneven coating thickness.
• Safety: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly follow safety protocols regarding chemical handling and ventilation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in epoxy application or industrial painting.
• Proficiency with floor prep machinery (grinders, vacuums, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of mixing ratios and "pot life" (working time) of chemicals.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.).
