Equine Video Producer & Digital Content Manager (Full Time) - World Equestrian Center Ocala

Job Summary:

The Equine Video Producer & Digital Content Manager is responsible for leading visual content production and digital storytelling for World Equestrian Center equestrian events. This role is a production-first role, with primary responsibility for filming, editing, and delivering high-quality social-first video and promotional content across WEC-owned horse shows.

The ideal candidate thrives in live competition environments and is equally confident behind the camera, in the editing suite, and managing online engagement. A strong understanding of equestrian sport is highly valued.

Primary Responsibilities (Video Production – Filming & Editing)

• Capture high-quality video during hunter/jumper, dressage, and multi-discipline equestrian competition.

• Edit short-form and mid-length video content, including Reels, highlight recaps, athlete interviews, promotional pieces, and sponsor integrations.

• Deliver same-day and next-day highlight edits during weekly competition.

• Produce paid social and digital advertising videos to support event marketing and revenue-driving campaigns.

• Adapt video content for platform-specific performance across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels.

• Maintain premium visual standards aligned with WEC’s equestrian brand identity.

• Organize and manage video assets and competition archives.

• Stay current on sports video trends, editing styles, pacing, and platform algorithms to ensure competitive performance.

Secondary Responsibilities (Social Media Management & Strategy)

• Develop and execute strategic content plans aligned with show schedules and seasonal circuits.

• Manage posting and scheduling across key social platforms.

• Oversee daily engagement, including responding to comments and direct messages.

• Ensure all equestrian sponsorship deliverables are fulfilled per contractual agreements.

• Integrate sponsor brands seamlessly into organic video storytelling.

• Monitor analytics and performance metrics to refine content strategy and optimize audience growth.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of equestrian sport; hunter/jumper experience preferred (multi-discipline knowledge a plus). Exceptional sports-content creators without direct equestrian experience may also be considered.

• Proven professional experience filming and editing high-level sports or live event video content using professional camera equipment (not just an iPhone).

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro required; experience with After Effects and motion graphics preferred.

• Ability to produce fast-turn, high-energy social-first edits.

• Portfolio required showcasing interviews, highlight reels, competition/event coverage, and platform-optimized video content.

• Experience managing brand or event social media accounts preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to grow engagement and audience through video content.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including many weekends, evenings, and extended time periods during event coverage.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure live event environments.
