We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our medical team at the Nauru Medical Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice in a dynamic environment while contributing to high-quality emergency care for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency care, from initial assessment to stabilization and management
• Lead and supervise ER medical officers, nurses, and support staff
• Perform emergency procedures and ensure timely clinical decision-making
• Coordinate with other specialties for referrals and advanced interventions
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation requirements
• Participate in on-call duties, training programs, and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree with recognized specialization in Emergency Medicine (or Internal Medicine with strong ER experience)
• Valid medical license and eligibility for registration
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization clinical experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in resource-limited settings
