Position: We are seeking a full-time Escrow Assistant for our Pembroke Pines, Florida office.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Basic understanding and proficiency in one’s work function which includes but is not limited to:
    • Opening orders (Ability to read purchase contracts and title request for information)
    • Ordering demands (payoffs, utilities, judgment, liens, taxes, HOAs, HOIs. EOIs)
    • Pulling tax certifications
    • Sending commitments to the right parties
    • Pulling CPLs

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
  • High School Diploma
  • Basic proficiency on SoftPro (title production system) and outside platforms (e.g. lender websites, county tax websites, utility websites)
  • Demonstrated detail orientation
  • Excellent phone, email, and face-to-face communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking and interacting with customer service at outside banks and lenders
  • Knowledge of escrow/title terminology (Deed of Trust, Lender, etc.) a plus but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Typing and 10key accuracy is required.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work, including escrow officers, attorneys and others.
  • Clear, concise and effective oral and written communication.
  • The ability to identify, obtain and organize documents with a high level of accuracy.
