Escrow Officer – Orbit Title Escrow (Sugar Land, TX)

Orbit Title Escrow is a growing escrow company with a branch in the Sugar Land, Texas market. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional service in both commercial and residential real estate closings. We are currently seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our expanding team.

Pay Range: $70,000 – $100,000/year

• The higher end of compensation is for candidates with commercial experience.
• Excellent bonus plan available.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring residential and commercial escrows to a successful close
• Review closing instructions and balance files
• Prepare documents for closing, recording, and issuing checks
• Communicate with title companies, lenders, and clients to resolve questions or issues
• Receive closing packages from notaries and review for completeness
• Ensure accuracy of closing documents and send out funding packages
• Handle complete disbursement and follow-up of all escrow transactions
• Review title to confirm liens are released or appropriate documentation is received
• Prepare title policies, review recordings for accuracy, and forward files to County Recorder or internal Recording Department
• Adopt and follow the processes established by Orbit Title Escrow

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of title/escrow experience
• Signing authority required
• Excellent computer skills (experience with Qualia software a plus)
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
