Johnson Duffie is seeking an Estate Administration Paralegal to join our firm to assist attorneys with estate administration. To be successful in this position, candidates must have experience working at a law firm, be a self-starter, possess strong communication skills, have exceptional attention to detail and be comfortable using technology.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in the Estate Administration practice including review and preparation of documents, petitions, inheritance tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, accountings, related court filings and correspondence
- Prepare estate administration documents, client correspondence and pleadings
- Maintain communication with clients and provide information as necessary
- Effectively work with attorneys and support staff
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years estate administration paralegal experience in Pennsylvania
- Knowledge of PA probate law and estate administration procedures
- Experience with PA inheritance tax and federal estate tax returns
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Professional demeanor with grieving families
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
