Estate Planning Paralegal

<Job Overview>
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support attorneys in preparing and managing estate planning documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help streamline client workflows, facilitate effective communication, and uphold the highest standards of legal service.

<Responsibilities>

  • Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. .
  • Manage case files efficiently within document management systems like iManage and Elder Docs, ensuring all documents are organized and accessible.
  • Perform detailed document review, proofreading, transcription, and editing to guarantee precision in all legal materials.
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating client meetings, tracking deadlines, and maintaining schedules for estate planning cases.
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for estate plans while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and filing of legal documents related to estate planning and elder law.
  • Support attorneys in document management tasks including filing correspondence in legal case management systems like iManage or Elder Docs.
  • Provide administrative support by managing phone calls professionally, organizing files systematically, and performing clerical tasks efficiently.

<Experience>

  • Strong knowledge of estate planning processes.
  • Experience with legal case management software such as Clio or iManage is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in document review, proofreading, transcription services, data entry, filing systems and general clerical support.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including professional phone etiquette and client interview techniques.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,403.32 per year
