Job Summary:

Estheticians are responsible for providing services related to the skin appearance. Providing preventative care for the skin and treatments to help with aging, acne, rosacea, and other skin problems.

  • Has an in-depth knowledge of skin care. Offer treatments to keep skin healthy and attractive. Be able to identify skin conditions and determine the appropriate type of care to correct or improve the condition. Must be able to detect skin problems that may require medical attention.
  • Apply facial treatments appropriate for the client’s skin concerns and condition, including chemical peels, remove or tint facial or body hair. Perform needed extractions on clogged pores. Professional make up application and knowledge. Provide facials and facial massage for clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

License: Licensed by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology
