Duties

• Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, and exfoliations with attention to individual skin types and concerns
• Deliver therapeutic massage services such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and improve mobility
• Conduct patient assessments to understand client needs, skin conditions, and musculoskeletal issues for customized treatment plans
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and self-care practices to enhance results and promote ongoing wellness
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and occupational health standards
• Utilize medical terminology and physiology knowledge to explain treatment benefits and procedures clearly to clients
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and certifications related to medical spa services and massage therapy

Skills

• Strong patient service skills with a focus on creating a positive client experience
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to skin health and musculoskeletal conditions
• Experience with deep tissue massage techniques, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessment to identify individual needs and develop effective treatment plans
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically
• Familiarity with occupational health standards to ensure safe practice environments
• Prior med spa experience is highly desirable for understanding advanced skincare procedures and client expectations
