Job Mission Statement:
As a Waxing Specialist at Skin Things, you will perform a range of expert-level services including waxing, sugaring, specialized brow shaping, and lash lifts for a diverse clientele. You will demonstrate a deep knowledge of waxing and sugaring techniques, provide thorough education on proper aftercare for long-lasting results, and utilize exceptional sales and communication skills to recommend homecare products and services. Your role will include maintaining a prebooking rate of 60-70% and actively contributing to growing our esthetic services by 35% by the end of 2025.

Outcomes:

• Revenue Growth: Maintain a monthly revenue of 10K plus after 6 months of employment.
• Product Sales: Consistently achieve a daily sales target of $100+ in homecare products by providing personalized recommendations and educating clients on aftercare.
• Client Notes & Follow-Up: Document client notes after each service, ensuring detailed information for future visits. Conduct weekly outreach to clients who have not returned for services, promoting rebooking and maintaining client loyalty.
• Client Photography: Capture and submit at least 3 well-lit before-and-after photos of clients (with their consent) each week, showcasing results and contributing to marketing efforts.
• Education & Professional Growth: Attend all continuing education classes provided by the company to stay up to date with the latest industry techniques, trends, and products.
• Room Maintenance & Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize the facial room to salon standards between each client, following a deep cleaning protocol at the end of each day. Fully restock the treatment room at the end of every shift to maintain readiness for the next day.

• Client Consultations: Proficient in conducting consultations for all skin and hair types, assessing client needs, and recommending the best services and products to achieve optimal results.
• Service & Retail Recommendations: Capable of assessing clients' unique concerns and providing tailored service and retail solutions that enhance their overall experience and results.
• Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to upsell high-value services and retail products, contributing to overall revenue growth.
• Scientific Understanding: Knowledge of how hair removal works scientifically, enabling clear explanations to clients and better service recommendations.
• Waxing & Hair Removal Techniques: Experienced with hard wax, soft wax, sugaring, and specialized brow shaping, ensuring clients receive personalized, high-quality care.

Experience, Education, and Licensing Requirements:

• Must have an active and current license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with customer service.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to wax anywhere from 6-20 clients per day.
• Prolonged periods of standing and bending over.
• Required to work 4 days per week plus at least 3 Saturdays per month.

Paid Training*
First 6 Months – Hourly + Tips
Onwards – Hourly + Commission + Tips
Established Team members: Hourly Range - $25-$65/hour
