Estimating Engineer

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Certification in estimation / quantity surveying is an added advantage

Industry Exposure (Mandatory)

• Fabrication works
• Oil & Gas projects
• Pipeline works (CS / SS / Alloy)
• Structural steel works (platforms, skids, pipe racks, shelters)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for:
• Structural steel fabrication
• Piping (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel)
• Skids, platforms, handrails, ladders, pipe supports
• Perform material take-off (MTO) from:
• GA drawings
• Isometric drawings
• Prepare BOQ, cost sheets, and rate analysis

Tendering & Documentation

• Study RFQs, ITBs, and tender documents
• Prepare technical & commercial clarifications
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for:
• Material pricing
• Machining, blasting, painting, galvanizing

Technical Skills

• Fabrication processes
• Welding, cutting, bending, machining
• Surface treatment (painting, blasting, galvanizing)
• Engineering drawings
• Isometrics

Software Skills

• AutoCAD
• MS Excel

Preferred Experience

• UAE or GCC project experience
• Experience in fabrication workshops is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
