Estimation and Measurement Manager

JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated Estimation and Measurement Manager to enhance our project delivery processes. In this essential role, you will oversee the estimation and measurement functions for a variety of construction projects, ensuring precision and efficiency in our bidding processes. Your deep understanding of civil engineering principles will enable you to lead your team effectively and contribute to the successful execution of both small and large-scale projects.

This position requires a strategic thinker with strong managerial skills who can streamline processes and foster collaboration among various teams. As the Estimation and Measurement Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing project cost structures and improving overall project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the estimation and measurement processes for major construction projects.
• Oversee the team's production of accurate cost estimates and measurements.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to gather necessary data for precise estimates.
• Conduct detailed analysis of project documents, specifications, and drawings to extract relevant information for bid preparation.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with measurement protocols and industry standards on job sites.
• Mentor and develop junior estimators to build a strong estimating team.
• Prepare and present detailed reports to management on estimating trends and performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a relevant field.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in estimation and project measurement, preferably in construction.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing an estimation team.
• Strong understanding of project costing, construction practices, and market trends.
• Familiarity with construction management software and estimation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
