Estimation Engineer

Position Title: Estimation Engineer – High-Rise Construction
Job Location: Dubai
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for high-rise building projects, ensuring competitive pricing, and supporting the tendering process. Coordinates with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure estimates align with technical requirements and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications for high-rise building projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works.
• Obtain and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure estimates reflect project scope.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Prepare tender clarifications and responses to client queries.
• Assist in contract negotiations and price finalization.
• Maintain updated cost databases and supplier/subcontractor lists.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Estimation Experience in the Construction Industry, with at least 3 years in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS, CostX) and MS Office.
• Familiar with FIDIC and local building codes.
